1948, Messrs Robert Marret and Jean Paturel collaborate to produce latex gloves. Putting together the first parts of their surnames, they call their company Mapa. 1963, an alliance with the company Baltex marks the development of protective gloves for industrial and professional use.
1989, Mapa Professionnel is established.
